1．有些动词后面可跟两个宾语，一个间接宾语，一个直接宾语，这类动词称为双宾动词：
1）She gave me a book．
她给我一本书。
Bill offered her a sandwich．
比尔给她一块二明治。
He left us some money．
他给我们留了一些钱。
The bank loaned him ￡5,000．
银行贷给了他5000英。

2）He ordered us a TV—set．
他给我们订购了一台电视机。
I'11 buy you some clothes.
我去给你买些衣裳。
Sing us a song．给我们唱一支歌。
I'11cut you a piece of cake．
我去给你切一块蛋糕。

3）She kissed her mother goodbye．
她吻别了她的母亲。
I've come to keep you company．
我来给你作伴。
They fined him $25．
他们罚了他25元。
The news dealt me a heavy blow．
这消息给了我沉重的打击。

2．这类句了中的间接引语有的可改为to引起的短语(如a类句子)，有的可改为for引起的短语(如b类句子)，有的则不能改为短语(如c类句子)：
She gave a book to me．(a)
Sing a song for us．(b)

3．有些双宾动词可跟that引起的从句(a)或连接副(代)词或whether或if引起的从句作直接宾语：
a．She tells me that you've been unwell．
她告诉我你近来子不太舒服。
She convinced me that Howard was innocent．
她让我相信霍华德是无辜的。
He warned me that the roads were icy．
他警告我路上结了冰。
She notified him that she was coming to see him．
她通知他她要来看他。

b．Show me where your leg hurts．

Please advise me whether I should take the job．
